Who We Are

Romans Funeral Home Was founded by George Augustus and Hyacinth May Roman in 1939 established at 73 Oxford St Kingston Jamaica. As a pioneer of the funeral industry in Jamaica, George Roman attended the John McAllister institute and graduated as a Certified Embalmer and Funeral Director in 1954. As one of the first certified Funeral Service Practitioner on the island George and Hyacinth registered the sole trader Roman’s Funeral Home.

As one of the islands largest provider of funeral, cremation services, we believe there is no greater responsibility than honoring and preserving the story of one’s life. That funerals and memorial services should be as unique as the individual they honor. And lastly, that every life is worth loving and remembering always.
